Who Are We? We are a haven of Spirit- A Quiet place to find refuge from the noise and spastic bustle of everyday life. MoonStones... was officially established in 1997. It was borne into consciousness however in 1994. At this time- the mother of MoonStones... Amy (that would be me) hit a crossroads in life that demanded change. In the search for answers, there was recognition that many were searching.- and there was a need for a physical place- a place that could be access to information, a meeting place for like minds, and simply a place that feels good and leaves you with a sense of well-being. Hence MoonStones... There have been a number of influences in what MoonStones... is now. There have been transient influences, as well as lasting connections that still remain- Good bad or indifferent- each of these influences have been blessings and teachers. They very much were the variety of spices that make up the flavor of MoonStones... To all of them- Thank You. So who are We...(I am not simply speaking of myself in the royal third person...)
The Bubba-licious Bahloo Bahloo is the store cat... He is referred to as being the actual owner-he simply allows me to pretend. He is known by all the kids and dogs in the surrounding neighborhoods, and loved by all. Amy- Im the owner on paper, the block parent of the Wyrd... the nut job you come across when you call on the phone, or stop in the store. Sterling- one of the long time connects- Sterling teaches the most fantastic yoga to be had in the area. She is innovative and exciting- you will never be bored with the same old thing. Jeff- Owner of Serenity Bodhiworks, is our connect to the physical body. Jeff carries multiple certifications in body-work and other healing modalities. He is a Reiki master, and accomplished herbologist. He is extremely accessible and appreciates the genuine nature of healing that has been lost by many. Monica- one of the most talented psychics I have ever met. She can contact those that have past. In half an hours time you receive all you need to walk into the future with assurance. Monica is available by appointment Wed., Fri., Sat. from 2pm-7:30pm Jenny- A lovely intuitive tarot reader, ready to guide you through lifes twists and turns. Jenny gives you a map of current events and future events. She then guides you through a question and answer period. Jenny is currently on hiatus while she continues her education. We (now I am addressing myself in the royal 3rd) are hopefully welcoming Diana as a intuitive reader. Some were able to work with Diana at a few of the events MoonStones... has hosted. Any of you that were privilege to her insight know that she is very talented and right on. MoonStones...- an entity in and of itself. With a personality of its very own- She hosts gatherings of organizations. She welcomes Sassafras Grove (the local ADF organization) and Pittsburgh Witches. To those of you that have visited these pages in the past- you may have noticed a paring down of organizations that utilize MoonStones for their gatherings. The Library is also absent. Having undergone extensive damage at the hands (or pipes) of the buildings pluming- it too is going through a re-vamping. TRPI is salvaging what they can to be opened at a new location. MoonStones... will be re-opening the library in the spring. There are many events and gatherings upcoming- Keep an eye on the Calendar.
